Molori Safari Lodge is renowned for being South Africa’s most luxurious game lodge. This five-suite retreat sits in the heart of the 75,000-hectare malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, 400kms northwest of Johannesburg.
Originally built for the family in 2002, it was transformed into a paradise retreat for discerning travelers in 2007.
Defined by its exquisite attention to detail, highly personalized service and unpretentious affluence, this fine residence is a perfect fit for those who expect the very best.
Molori Safari is situated deep within the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa’s North West Province, bordering Botswana.
The secluded lodge offers absolute privacy, while taking in breathtaking views of the Dwarsberg Mountains and the expansive Madikwe valley.
At 75000 hectares, Madikwe Game Reserve is South Africa’s fifth largest Big Five game reserve, but offers so much more than the Big Five.
Madikwe is home to the Super Seven, which includes all Big Five species as well as cheetah and wild dog.
There are an estimated 400 wild dogs still surviving in South Africa and a large concentration of these are thriving in the Madikwe habitat. The reserve is also home to some 350 recorded bird species.
All suites have floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls, which fold away completely, connecting each suite’s interior to a private deck and infinity pool.
All feature indoor and outdoor showers, as well as free-standing baths, custom furniture, indoor/outdoor dining options, fireplaces, mini-bars, Bose iPod docking stations and air‐conditioning.
Both presidential suites follow the indoor/outdoor style of the other suites on a grander scale.
Additionally, each has a kitchen and dining area, additional guest bathrooms, rim-flow bathtub, a walk-in dressing room, and a library/study.
