From December to April Whales and dolphins, including the mighty Blue Whale, can be seen off the southern coast. We always recommend a private boat so that guests can swim or snorkel before coming ashore.
SAFARI
Udewalawa and Yala are the big two and offer fantastic game viewing of Leopards, Elephants, Buffalo & Sloth Bears. For birders, SL is a dream destination. Kalametiya and Bandula National Park are a must and some 197 different species of bird will stop here throughout the year.
