Located in Uluwatu, 16km from Bali’s International Airport and 20km from the endless shopping, vibrant nightlife and international restaurants of Seminyak.
Ubud — Bali’s center for fine arts and cultural performances — is 49km to the north.
The remainder of the island offers a rich mosaic of cultures, tastes, sights and sounds, together with a wide array of activities.
The Bukit Peninsula is a 140-square-kilometer limestone tableland that dangles like a pendant upon a chain at the southern tip of the island.
A curious, windswept geographic feature, it stands out in sharp contrast to Bali’s lush, alluvial plains.
‘Bukit’ is the Indonesian word for hill, and this dry-land outcrop was once home solely to seaweed farmers, fisherman and die-hard surfers.
Since the Millennium, however, this up-and-coming region has reinvented itself to become the most up-market destination on the island.
The Bukit now boasts some of Bali’s most opulent destination villas, glamorous private estates, and internationally-branded boutique hotels, making it the area of choice for discerning travellers and residents.
SUNDAYS BEACH CLUB
Sundays Beach Club is Bali’s most spectacular beachfront location. Indulge in fabulously fresh, all-day dining. Explore the crystal clear lagoon and scattered rock pools with complimentary water sports. Relax by the bonfires to the cool tunes, as the sun sets cliffside.
Lounge on a sun bed and enjoy the captivating ocean views while you sip the most sophisticated cocktails.
Relax in a beanbag right on the beach shore with your toes in the sand while you indulge in our lip-smackingly delicious gourmet menu.
Or come for dinner. A menu best shared amongst family and friends.
THE UNGASAN KITCHEN
The Ungasan’s Selatan Restaurant serves an eclectic a la carte menu created by James Viles, owner and chef of two-hatted restaurant Biota Dining and is inspired by the ingredients of Bali’s diverse and rich landscape.
VELA SPA
Sometimes you need to relax, rejuvenate, and reinvigorate yourself. Vela Spa at The Ungasan offers perfect pampering in tranquil treatment rooms or in the privacy of your villa.

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple. To the south, the beachside city of Kuta has lively bars, while Seminyak, Sanur and Nusa Dua are popular resort towns. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats.
