Hirafu Village, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan

Selected as one of the world’s finest ski chalets in the book Life in Style・Mountain Chalets published in English, French and German, Zekkei is one of the most impressive and luxurious chalet in the Main Village.

Set over three floors and approximately 400sqm, the chalet is well known in Niseko for its unbeatable views of Mt. Yotei and terraced rice paddies.

The open-plan living and dining area is characterized by the generous use of Canadian wooden beams, coupled with modern and sleek interior furnishing and heated timber flooring for ultimate comfort and style.

The dining area is highlighted with an oversized table handmade of Siberian elm wood, while the white marble fire place in the huge lounge presents the perfect setup for entertaining.

As home entertainment goes, there is a separate media room equipped with state-of-the-art AV gear and a huge flat-panel TV.

The impressive DVD and book library, PS3 and XBOX 360 would keep guests of all ages entertained for quite a while.

Ideal for joint family trips and a big group of friends traveling together, the Zekkei chalet, with a Japanese name that translates into “the absolute view”, has five generously laid out ensuite king bedrooms plus an ensuite kids’ room furnished with double bunks.

Three of the ensuite bathrooms have a Japanese hinoki bathtub for some onsen goodness from the privacy of your own residence.

Zekkei is without a doubt the most impressive chalet in the main village, yet it appeals to the environmentally conscious; it’s fully heated by geothermal heating, surrounded by nature and gives you the unobstructed vision of the mountains beyond in every room.

There is a dedicated ski equipment storage and drying room for skiers’ convenience. Guests can well take advantage of the house’s great Main Hirafu village location, just less than 10 minutes away from the ski area.

TRAVEL CONCIERGE
Planning your holiday, we are with you every step along the way.
If the chalet of your choice is already booked, our team is happy to suggest equivalent alternatives and take care of the details. You can expect your vacation to be personalized to suit your tastes.
We make arrangements for these pre-arrival logistics for you:
Airport transfer
The drive is between 2–3 hours from New Chitose Airport to Niseko.
Your driver will meet you at the airport arrival gate and then drive you the 2.5 – 3 hours to Hirafu and drop you at the door of your accommodation. You will be greeted and checked in by a dedicated staff, who be on stand by to provide handy tourist information about the Hirafu ski resort and your chalet. Rates vary depending on group number and vehicle used. Get in touch for details.
– Limousine service
If you are looking for a luxury way of traveling, you can also choose a limousine service. The 6-7 seater vehicle can be likened to a private jet, with luxurious white leather reclining armchairs, full cabin attendance and complimentary refreshments. The passenger area is fully equipped with a toilet, refrigerator, television, CD and DVD.
Dining
Private catered meals in the privacy of the chalet can be arranged, with the choice of:
Japanese/international breakfasts
Japanese dinners featuring sushi and sukiyaki
International dinners
Grocery, sushi and nabe set delivery services available.
We recommend qualified chefs from Niseko Gourmet.
Ski equipment rental
You should definitely book your rentals in advance to ensure your ideal rental equipment is available. Peak season is extremely busy and rentals can sell out quickly.
We recommend ski and snowboard packages from GoSnow, Rhythme Snow Sports and Niseko Base Snowsports, both with rental outlet located conveniently approximate to lifts.
Ski Lessons
We highly recommend booking your lessons before the trip – Lessons book out months in advance for peak season, and even during the quieter periods you should pre-book so that the lesson can fit in smoothly to your holiday schedule.
