Alpen Ridge was one of the first ski-in/ski-out condos built in Hirafu in the modern development era, which began in the mid-2000s.

Along with The Vale Niseko next door, its developers jostled for prime position alongside the family ski run, perfect for beginners but also good for others who can access higher parts of the mountain from the family lift here.

Just a few steps away, the Vale’s Vale Bar & Grill restaurant offers an excellent range of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. AYA Niseko also has a restaurant on premises, or a short walk from your front door is the main street of Hirafu – groceries, bars, everything is close by.

Walk out onto the family run from the front door, and access the upper mountain via the family lift. Or jump on the free shuttle bus which stops right outside and can whisk you up to any of the lifts on the mountain.

Alpen Ridge is located in the “Family-Zaka Street” precinct of Upper Hirafu Village – so named for its location next to the family run.

With one of Niseko’s premiere buildings – The Vale Niseko – right alongside, it’s in good company. This little precinct, which used to be dilapidated old hotels and carparks, is now a vibrant, modern little accommodation and entertainment precinct.

PENTHOUSE
Taking up the entire slope-facing side of the building on the 6th and 7th floor, the penthouse apartments are spacious, luxurious and comfortable all in one.
Enjoy panoramic views across living space and bedrooms, luxurious marble finishings and little embellishments such as a wine fridge and premium coffee maker.
The master bedroom features sofa sitting as well as a private balcony. Each room can sleep two guests in either 1 King Double or 2 Single bed configurations, an extra guest can also stay on futon bedding in the living room.

A full-feature kitchen and laundry facilities in your apartment – all you need is here. The dining table seats up to eight, and the kitchen counter features a breakfast bar for extra seating too.
The master bedroom features wardrobe, ensuite bath with shower. The second and third bedrooms share the central bathroom for the apartment, which has a shower. Pricing varies according to the view you choose.

Ranging from 1st to 3rd floors, the two bedroom apartments price out slightly differently depending on the floor and view you choose. The master bedroom features en suite bathroom with bathtub, both bedrooms offer ample storage space and the option of either 1 King Double or 2 Single beds.
A well-positioned open plan living space takes advantage of the building corner with feature windows across two sides of the room.
A full-feature kitchen, dining seating for six and a sofa / television nook make up this space. Near the entrance is a shared bathroom with shower, and laundry nook with self-contained washer and dryer.

A world-class ski destination, Niseko receives 14m of snow per season on average. Offering 38 lifts, 4 developed, inter-linked resorts, 47km of groomed slopes, 1000m of vertical, and the longest run stretching 5600m, Niseko is the largest of Hokkaido’s ski areas, and overall the most well-rounded winter resort on the island.
There is a good mix of groomed runs for all levels, from first-timers through expert powder hounds. There is also a terrain park with half-pipes, table tops, round quarters and rails etc… a variety of terrain to suit boarders of different abilities.
That being said, novices going down the slope for the first time may want to avoid the crowds in peak powder season and consider some of the quieter times (spring).

DRIVING IN JAPAN
It is not possible to drive in Japan with just your driving licence issued in your home country. Japan only recognises International Driving Permits based on the 1949 Geneva Convention. Before arriving in Japan you must obtain your International Driving Permit from the national Automobile Association in the country which issued your licence. Airport transfer
The drive is between 2–3 hours from New Chitose Airport to Niseko.
Your driver will meet you at the airport arrival gate and then drive you the 2.5 – 3 hours to Hirafu and drop you at the door of your accommodation. You will be greeted and checked in by a dedicated staff, who be on stand by to provide handy tourist information about the Hirafu ski resort and your chalet. Rates vary depending on group number and vehicle used. Get in touch for details.
– Limousine service
If you are looking for a luxury way of traveling, you can also choose a limousine service. The 6-7 seater vehicle can be likened to a private jet, with luxurious white leather reclining armchairs, full cabin attendance and complimentary refreshments. The passenger area is fully equipped with a toilet, refrigerator, television, CD and DVD.

A private chef may be booked in advance for a unique in-house dining experience, catered meals in the privacy of the chalet can be arranged, with the choice of:
