Wadano Woods Chalets are a new collection chalets, Located in a new development in the picturesque and convenient location of Wadano area of Hakuba, close to Happo One Ski Resort.

The Chalets have modern features, designer furniture and an open plan living area, with a ski/board drying room.

Currently, there are 2 2-bedrooms plus loft units and 2 3-bedrooms plus loft units, located in lower Wadano, but more are soon to be built.

From the Wadano Woods Chalets, guests have convenient access to Happo and nearby restaurants and bars, which are a very short walk down the hill into the Happo Village.

Wadano Woods have all the features you would expect from a self-contained, whilst retaining a unique “log cabin style design” with plenty of charm and warmth.

With an inviting atmosphere and a modern feel, one can relax in the lounge area, cook up a storm in the fully equipped contemporary kitchen or kick back by the fireplace.

Great for families and groups and can accommodate up to 10 persons.

These 3-story wooden chalets feature modern designer furniture and interiors. Relax and unwind in the spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area.

The loft bedroom with adult size bunk beds, located on the upper level, is ideal for kids or groups of friends, while the other bedrooms all feature en-suite facilities.

These incredible, spacious chalets offer comfortable sleeping for up to eight guests, making it ideal for larger groups of family or friends, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in addition to an open plan communal living space.
Split over 3 levels, the chalet offers 2 standard king or split king bedrooms with western style bedding and a separate loft bedroom featuring 4 bunk beds.
The 2 larger bedrooms are each connected to their own full, spacious ensuite bathrooms, and each is fitted with large built-in robes.
The loft bedroom features large amounts of storage space and it’s own small lounge area, making it a perfect space for children to play.
The middle level of the chalet consists of a spacious, open plan area offering a dining space for eight, a large and cosy lounge area and a modern, fully equipped kitchen.
This room is the largest in the house, and the large ceilings along with large windows make it an amazingly open and inviting space.
The lounge area is equipped with an LCD television, DVD player and sound system and is heated by a stunning open fireplace, making nights spent indoors cosier than ever.
The kitchen offers state-of-the-art appliances and all of the essential utensils for whipping up a feast for the whole family.
This space then opens onto a large balcony fitted with a range of patio furniture – arguably the best place to take in the stunning views of the surrounding area.
There is a second, smaller bathroom located on this middle level, too, which is of course filled with all of the essential amenities.
The entire chalet is decorated to be reminiscent of log-cabin ski accommodation, using sustainable and gorgeous light timber throughout in both the floors, walls and furniture.
The light color of this paired with the ample natural light of the space creates a stunning atmosphere that is light, bright and inviting.

Offering 3 separate levels split over almost 2 hundred square metres, this spacious, luxurious chalet offers a unique experience for large groups of friends or family and a comfortable stay for every guest.
The chalet offers 3 large bedrooms, each with king western bedding, an ensuite bathroom and built-in robes, as well as an extra large loft bedroom with 4 single bunk beds with large amounts of storage space and it’s own small lounge space.
There is also one extra bathroom on the middle level of the apartment, too, which is also fitted with laundry facilities to make an extended stay incredibly easy.
The communal living space is a sprawling, open-plan area offering a large lounge and dining area as well as a modern and fully equipped kitchen, which opens onto a spacious balcony. The entire space features a generous use of light timber in the walls, floors and ceiling, creating an incredibly tranquil space that works to foster a connection to the natural landscape surrounding the chalet.
The lounge area is equipped with an LCD television, DVD player, and sound system, and the entire chalet has access to Wi-Fi internet.
This communal space also features a large dining table for eight, a stunning open fireplace to make the evenings extra cozy, and some extra storage space.
The kitchen offers state-of-the-art appliances and utensils, meaning that despite your proximity to the area’s restaurants, you’re likely to enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal or 2 as well.

Located in Wadano, the chalets are a 10 mins walk to the Happo ski lifts, and there is also a shuttle bus stop just across the street, which will transport you to Hakuba’s other ski areas.

You should definitely book your rentals in advance to ensure your ideal rental equipment is available. Peak season is extremely busy and rentals can sell out quickly.
We recommend ski and snowboard packages from GoSnow, Rhythme Snow Sports and Niseko Base Snowsports, both with rental outlet located conveniently approximate to lifts.
SKI LESSONS
We highly recommend booking your lessons before the trip – Lessons book out months in advance for peak season, and even during the quieter periods you should pre-book so that the lesson can fit in smoothly to your holiday schedule.
